IBLS was proud to participate in the Warehouse Safety Seminar hosted by Osis Group together with SPAN Trading LLC.
Osis Group and SPAN Trading LLC expressed their views on Warehouse Safety from their point of view. Osis Group focused on how a well-designed, well-constructed and fit for purpose floor is critical for the safety of the warehouse operation. Span, on the other hand covered the subject from the point of view of racking systems, material handling equipment or loading bay equipment, as well as the software to effectively operate a distribution center.
IBLS presented the reasons why:
- The safe function of Logistics Centers is a necessary parameter for reassuring the
Productivity, Functionality and Flexibility - The Functionality suggests the know how of the safe function of all the equipment of the Logistic Center (Loading Equipment, Racking, MHE, Automation, MEP installations)
- It is impossible to maintain high Productivity without secure function
- The changes in the market require Flexibility, which has to be included safely in the initial planning and applied carefully
